ASPIRE is a multi-year program which aims at defining and developing the functional ERP roadmaps in order to simplify, standardize and automate business processes and systems leveraging SAP's, industry and available Roche best practices.
As the "IT ASPIRE Global Template (GT) Project Lead", you are working with an agile mindset to coordinate activities of various squads / resources, designing, building, testing and deploying the "ASPIRE Global Template" in a consistent and functionally integrated manner. You define the project-milestones, -interdependencies, -critical path, -governance and required resources in multiple locations. You manage and drive the realization of the global Pharma and Diagnostics solution. You collaborate with the Business Global Template Project Lead ("2-in-a-box"), manage various 3rd parties and you prepare, drive and participate in the relevant IT/ Project governance bodies.
As the IT ASPIRE Global Template Project Lead, you will lead a small team of direct repots via staff augmentation or vendors.
Your primary responsibilities include:
Leads and drives the IT definition, development, implementation and governance of the ASPIRE Global Template (GT)
Manages the functional integration, interdependencies and overall solution architecture of the ASPIRE Global Template (GT)
Works with the "Senior Solution Delivery Manager" to ensure the qualitative overall IT delivery of the program (configuration, development, infrastructure, integration)
Ensuresalignment with Diagnostics, Pharma Informatics and Roche ERP on E2E solutions, data structures and functional integration
Manages the relevant IT workstreams (Solution Architects) for the GT project & represents IT in the appropriate GT project governance bodies
Ensure consistency of project deliverables such as Configuration Guides, Solution Design Documents, Functional- and Design-Specifications, Test Scenarios and Data Structures
Determine the project critical path and manage milestones and gates accordingly
Develop effective relationships with stakeholders in order to get results and develop a strong network internally and externally
Working with Roche IT and business stakeholders/sponsorships
You bring the following qualifications:
>20 years of relevant experience driving complex and global ERP projects
Minimum 15 years of SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) experience in coordinating project teams and managing local and global IT projects in a multicultural, international environment
Experience in working with virtual/dispersed project/service teams
Expert knowledge of project/ program management methods (e.g. PMM (PMI), CSV, GxP)
Expert knowledge of agile methodologies (Agile: Scrum, Kanban) and good knowledge of practices in the IT service delivery market, such as ITIL
Working knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and ServiceNow
Certificate confirming knowledge of project and program management methods (e.g. PMM (PMI), Prince, CSV, GxP)
Communication skills and skills to cooperate with persons at different organisation levels
Influencing, persuasion and negotiations skills (with different organisation levels)
Skills to envisage possible problems determine and implement solutions
Readiness to work outside standard working hours in the case of cooperation with teams in other time zones
