About the role
We are looking for a proactive, analytically minded colleague to lead SCQM’s partnerships and further develop its data-driven services.You will work at the intersection of healthcare, science, real-world data and industry partnerships. Your role will be to strengthen existing collaborations, identify new opportunities, understand partner needs and help translate SCQM’s data and expertise into relevant services.The position is suited to someone who combines strong communication and relationship-building skills with analytical thinking, strategic awareness, and the ability to move projects forward in a pragmatic and collaborative way.
Your responsibilities
You will take the lead in managing and further developing SCQM’s partnerships with the pharmaceutical industry. This includes maintaining strong relationships with existing partners, identifying new collaboration opportunities, and presenting SCQM, its registry, services and added value to external stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and developing existing partnerships with pharmaceutical companies
- Identifying and approaching potential new industry partnersPresenting SCQM’s work, services and value proposition to current and prospective partners
- Translating insights from SCQM real-world data into relevant and actionable messages for partnersWorking with SCQM’s Head of Data Products to further develop SCQM’s service portfolio
- Proposing data-driven insights and services that meet the needs of existing and potential partners Further developing SCQM’s partnership model
- Preparing, negotiating and coordinating collaboration contracts in alignment with SCQM’s governance standards
- Supporting the development of new funding models and strategic collaborations, including with public authorities, insurers, foundations and other actors in the healthcare system
Your profile
You are a strong communicator with strategic awareness and the confidence to represent SCQM externally. You enjoy building relationships, understanding stakeholder needs and translating complex scientific or data-related topics into clear value propositions.
We are looking for someone with:
- A university degree in a relevant field, such as life sciences, public health, health economics, business administration, data science, epidemiology or a related discipline
- Experience in partnerships, account management, business development, project and stakeholder management, ideally in healthcare, life sciences, research, real-world data or the pharmaceutical environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- The ability to build trust-based relationships with different stakeholders
- Good negotiation skills and a professional, confident manner
- Analytical thinking and the ability to identify relevant insights, patterns and opportunities in data-driven services
- The ability to understand scientific and data-related topics and translate them into clear messages for non-specialist audiences
- A proactive, entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to move topics forward independently
- Fluency in English; German and/or French are an advantage
