Become our (Senior) Project Manager* for our Business Unit Pharmaceutical Systems. The position can be located either at the SCHOTT headquarter in Germany, Mainz, or at our site in Switzerland, St. Gallen. You will report to the Head of Project Management Office within our Technology division of BU Pharma.
In this role, you will be responsible for the whole lifecycle of global complex technology projects, which require an understanding for the specific Pharma environment, e.g. to build-up new plants. Therefore, a willingness to travel globally (±40 %) is necessary.
Your Tasks
You submit proposals for future projects and drive complex technology-innovation projects from idea along the project life cycle to industrialization, relating our Pharma road map.
You plan medium-term international or interdisciplinary projects that include several disciplines, e.g. technology development, and further teams, e.g. R&D or site management. In this context, you not only define sub-projects and work package agreements as well as necessary training measures, but also set-up a strong cross-functional project organization of local employees as well as several functions and involve external support, if necessary.
Moreover, you are responsible for the CAPEX planning, the budget control of your dedicated projects as well as the project reporting.
You always ensure adherence to and monitoring of legal laws and internal regulations concerning IMSU / EHS / cGMP / Guidelines for pharmaceutical supplier industry / safety regulations for all involved parties
Your Profile
University's degree in engineering, industrial engineering or similar
6-9 years of professional experience in project management / Project Management Office, in which you bring min. 3 years of proven leadership skills as (sub) project leader and experience in managing non-disciplinary and multi-cultural colleagues
Strong systematic problem solving competence for greater projects as the build-up of new plant within a GMP or Pharma-related environment
Project management/methodological competence - IPMA-C certificate is required
Very good command of English is mandatory, good German is a plus
