Chief Supply Chain Officer - CSCO (m/f)
Member of the Global Management Team
In this challenging position you will hold a pivotal role in an international team, driven by a globaI market with vast opportunities for our client's high-quality products. Your activities focus on ensuring the effectiveness of the global supply chain resources and activities with respect to service, cost and investment, and for developing and executing appropriate tactics to ensure performance targets are met. You develop, integrate and execute the supply chain strategy and plan in support of the business and functional strategies, and meet customer needs through integrated processes, systems (SAP) and use of technology while balancing inventory, service levels and overall costs. At the same time, you initiate and coordinate supply chain improvement activities and drive standardization, simplification, and speed across the global supply chain. You lead an international team of approximately 25 skilled employees at the company's subsidiaries and in Switzerland. You have to expect overall international travel activities of about 20 %. You will be based at the Swiss headquarters, reporting to the CEO of the organization.
A technical, engineering or business background with a respective degree and a solid proven track record in international - including the US and/or China - Supply Chain Management (ideally with an APICS CPIM degree or equivalent) in manufacturing industries, preferably pharma, chemical, plastics or packaging and in highly regulated environments, are required. You own solid SAP competency and you are a pragmatic self-starter with distinct entrepreneurial thinking. You enjoy relationship building across cultural boundaries and you have excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and German. Any further language is of advantage. You display strong collaboration, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to be put in use when interacting with internal and external stakeholders. In addition, you possess excellent analytic and team leading skills and are an experienced user of the commonly used MS software tools. You assume ownership for your areas of responsibility and have organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
