Project Manager

Manage projects and changes to guaranty the continuity of voice communications services in the control center of Dübendorf, the airport of Zürich as well as several regional airports throughout Switzerland
Manage and coordinate configuration changes on our VCS (Voice Communication Switches), in close collaboration with the maintenance teams
Provide a technical support in case of complex technical issues
Follow and manage the VCS maintenance contracts we have with our suppliers
Follow and manage the VCS obsolescence, the evolution of the related technologies and the equipment harmonization at the Swiss level (Geneva, Zürich and the regional airports).
Ensure the compliance with all relevant norms, standards, national and international laws linked to safety, security and quality of voice communication services in air traffic control (recommendations and directives issued by ICAO, EC, EUROCONTROL, EASA, FOCA et OFCOM).
Support projects, working groups and studies as technical expert for the elaboration of the safety assessments, as well as the operational and technical concepts
Perform studies and analysis for both internal and external customers in the voice communication domain
Engineer with Master (or Bachelor) degree in telecommunications (or equivalent)
A good knowledge of the VHF / UHF radio technologies (AM, FM, VDL) is an asset
Proven experience in project management (initial phases, definitions and analysis of specifications, concept, planning, budget, realization and documentation) with open and creative personality as well as good staff management skills
Fluent in German (oral and written), very good knowledge of English (min C1 level), good knowledge of French (B1 level)
Strong team spirit with good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to regularly travel, mainly in Switzerland.
Swiss citizen (mandatory to access some military airbases and radio sites)
