In this position, you will be supporting and leading rapid prototyping activities and food formulation activities with a focus on plant-based meat alternatives in direct communication and interaction with scientists and project leaders.
A day in the life of...
o Propose and contribute to new ideas and effectively transfer scientific concepts in prototypes o Be able to run these activities and communicate/present activities back to key clients without supervision o Contribute to VMS business related project activities with a proactive participation o Present results in written and oral form to relevant team members and stakeholders o Ensure inputs to projects are within timelines and project costs o Provide and ensure permanent update on new developments in the field of meat alternatives regarding ingredients and product innovations o Integrate technical and formulation competencies into business relevant activities and prototypes
What will make you successful
o CFC/CAP or equivalent as a cook or dietary cook o Experience as a Sous-Chef or Chef de Partie (Line cook) o Experience in Vegan alternative ingredients and cuisine o Experience in butchery/charcuterie is seen as an advantage o Good level of English, other languages is a plus o Creativity and ability to develop new, innovative prototype o Proven track record of working in a team
