Head Service & Support Operations Europe
Your tasks
- Drive the execution of the services strategy and growth by focusing on the timely delivery of high-quality and cost-effective service offerings, solutions, and projects.
- Manage the service function across Europe by developing and communicating long and short-term strategies and objectives, establishing accountabilities, territories, and priorities.
- Direct management responsibility for the Service Team including Service Managers, Team Leaders and Field Service Engineers.
- Drive service operation efficiency to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction through continuous improvement and standardization of service offerings regionally.
- Develop succession capability and build talent funnels to ensure growth objectives to create an environment of high engagement and performance.
- Partner with the key functional areas (sales, product management, etc.) and align strategies which help to solidify the performance and reliability of the Tecan products and solutions in the field ultimately to create a leading Service Organization.
- Develop novel, and introduce new initiatives to increase service revenue growth initiatives and to continuously improve service excellence measured by KPIs
Your qualifications
- Degree in any discipline related to the variety of tasks or other somehow comparable education
- +15 yrs of service, marketing, or sales leadership experience in a technical or service-related business with P&L oversight responsibility.
- Solid field service background (within the same or any related industry).
- Strong track record of driving substantial revenue growth for new and existing products and services, preferably within laboratory automation.
- Proven ability to drive strategic plans into tactical execution within an international environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally (Europe) for around 25% of your time.
- Fluency in English (German would be an asset).
