Master's Degree in Life or Social Sciences Epidemiology Public Health Psychology Sociology Biology Pharmacy Chemistry Substantial experience in designing and running surveys including questionnaire design data analysis and reporting/dissemination of results in scientific forums like peer-review journals and scientific conferences either working for industry e.g. consumer goods pharmaceuticals medical devices consultancy e.g. clinical research organizations or academia Proficient in Excel Word and PowerPoint Fluent in spoken and written English.
If you are also curious detail and customer oriented with strong business acumen strategic with good planning ability and providing/communicating solutions a team player comfortable with different external/internal stakeholders and management while collaborating on different projects and continuously learning in a changing environment you are the one we want for our Population Risk Assessment Team in Philip Morris Products S.A. Research Development R D in Neuchâtel Switzerland.
As the Sr. Scientist ndash Epidemiology and Survey Research you will support all the scientific activities related to post market studies at Philip Morris International PMI .
Specific responsibilities include
Independently develop epidemiology and survey research protocols Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the goals of the research projects assigned Collaborate to implement study designs and analyze the results as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Write first class scientific communications for peer-review journals and conferences Be responsible for the overall conduct of the study and its final report in accordance to Good Epidemiological/Clinical Practices GEP/GCP .
