We are looking to hire a Field Sales Manager to achieve sales plan objectives with assigned clients and targets by effectively selling Panalpina’s products.

Responsibilities

* Propose a Sales Prospection Plan (SME)
* Execute and control the sales activities in line with the validated sales plan
* Follow-up target clients
* Develop business with assigned cutomers
* Assure successful account integration to Operations
* Optimize cost of sales
* Assure compliance with the sales process
* Create customer profiles, assure accuracy/completeness of data, control updates regularly and inform their distribution to all departments
* Maintain customer tariffs, administrate necessary activities including rate increases and schedules
* Prepare quotations for existing customers and targeted accounts applying the pricing policy
* Contact potential customers to qualify and process sales leads
* Update SAP CRM Platform with Customer Opportunities

Educational Background & Work Experience

* Business Administration / commercial background
* Relevent working expérience (minimum 5 years)
* Industry experience (minimum 3 years)
* Sales experience (minimum 2 years)

Qualifications

* Sales Know How and/or Strong willingness to developp Business
* Understanding of Freight Forwarding Industry
* Deep local market knowledge (customers, competitors, suppliers, overall environment)

* Able to manage cross-functional interfaces (Operations and ISPs)
* Organizational skills (prioritize, plan, assign delegate and control)
* Capable of independently meeting expected sales goals in teh assigned territories
